Pretend you're happy when you're blue.It isn't hard to do

I have been reading all the time in my life.Sometimes it adds to my stock of knowledge and makes me smarter, sometimes it sorts myself out from the sorrow, sometimes it takes me to the other era or wonderland.
I just read through South Of The Border West Of The Sun which is written by Haruki Murakami.
It was melancholy, nostalgic,,, and bit of a fool at the end.
It might happen in our life - someone who you loved each other before, reenters your life abruptly and she/he appears and disappears unpredictably. Then make a decision between your past and your present.
'If I cry, it might make thing easier. But what would I cry over?Who would I cry for?I was too self-centerd to cry for other people, too old to cry for myself'
Everyone would like to be a good man/girl. But most people has impulses which hurt yourself or break your heart or damage your life, even the others. That's why people may make a fatal mistake and get a pain.

'Pretend you're happy when you're blue. It isn't hard to do'

This is a quotation from this book, also part of the lyric from Nat King Cole's.
I tried in vain to tell myself. I couldn't pretend I was okay when I was so blue. Guess it is incredibly hard to do for some people.
It was a little like Casablanca. It reminds me some fabulous scenes at Rick's Cafe Americaine.
Well, now it's time to make my decision. There are no old magic words--'probably' and 'in a while' .
